Look for a doctor specializing in sports medicine. Call first and ask if they’ll take your insurance. If they don’t, your biggest problem isn’t your hamstring. It’s that you don’t have good insurance coverage. If you can (and I know times are hard) do something about THAT. BUT, a free clinic would do it, also. X-rays they take if they suspect broken bones (which might well be the case). Probably it will be a CAT scan. And if you need surgery to repair the tear, will your insurance take care of that? Or the Physical Therapy?
