answer:Your best bet is to find an install CD and the oldest piece of computing equipment that you have. BeOS had some problems loading when a system had a certain amount of memory, and I don’t remember what that was.If you have a Pentium 2 or Pentium 3 laying around you can probably get away with that. The other problem, then, is finding an install CD. The other thing you can do is try and load Haiku, which is a binary compatible, open source, re-construction of BeOS. I’ve installed it on virtual machines, but I haven’t tried installing it to its own partition. I don’t think the Haiku team is up to the point of an easy installer, but it doesn’t hurt to look. If you don’t mind me asking, what program were you looking to run on BeOS?
