No, it’s just a personality thing. There are people who zoom into whatever is wrong in any given circumstance, and that then occupies the forefront of their consciousness. While that’s not a very joyous way to live, and I’m not crazy about the company of people like that, it’s not exactly maladaptive either. People who are easily rankled and sound off about it can be a force for positive change, if only to shut them up.
