Although, I once had a client who when her husband died she wanted to dance in his grave. Abusive bastard. She wasn’t rich though, her children helped to take care of her once her money ran out. Nancy Reagan said each day is harder without her husband. I know lots of widows in south Florida who aren’t necessarily rich, but they have no real money worries. They travel, socialize with friends, and overall live a very nice life. They seem to handle the loss of their spouse ok after a time of mourning.
