- What about butter? Drowned in butter and salt was the only way I would eat most vegetables when I was a kid. Then, gradually, you reduce the butter and salt. – Do you grill? Try grilling up some peppers, summer squash zucchini, and onions to go with a grilled chicken breast. (Not really “sneaking”, but damn good. I grew up exposed to overboiled soggy veggies, and found grilled veggies to be a different thing altogether.) – If you cut up veggies small enough, are you able to tolerate them in small amounts? Maybe try adding increasing amounts to things you currently eat? – I’m sure you’ve probably done this, but just in case – have you experimented with raw vs. cooked, as well as different levels of cooked? Besides the grilling thing, I know some people can’t eat cooked carrots but love them raw.
