Make sure they offer curriculum and training. Do your research to see what reputation they have. Do they really pay their tutors? some of these organizations don’t like to pay their tutors, or give them low pay with never ending promises for more hours and better pay. Also, what sort of tutoring do you do? I’ve taught ESL in person for 3 years, and over Skype for two. If you’re going to be teaching online, you might be paired with someone in a much different time zone. Find out ahead of time what hours you’d need to keep.
