Can caffeine make a difference in morning fatigue or should we not be tired then?

I would suggest you try it once and see how you feel. Different people seem to react differently to caffeine. If you drink caffeine at other times, but not in the morning, then I would tend to think (from personal experience with my own body chemistry) that you might be in caffeine withdrawal in the morning, and so then yes, morning coffee could make a huge difference, as it often does for me.
