1.Radial (Tree) distribution system

2.Ring mains (Loop) distribution system

3. Grid (interconnected) distribution system

2. Capital cost & Erecting cost is less as there is only one feeder.

3. Time required for completion of work is less.

2. Reliability to maintain supply is more even when there is a fault on any one feeder.
