The Defense team would do their best to get you removed from the Jury during one of their rounds. But you are certainly allowed to yes. Its just that neither the Defense or the Prosecutor will want you there for fear you will have personal views that can sway the other Jurrors into a verdict unique to your perspective. This is also assuming the death was a result of malpractice. If it was a Murder they would probably want to keep you on.
