Great question! Practically every state in the US has some sort of law regarding the licensing of armored cars to the public; i.e. you cannot do so unless said company has a reason to protect certain valuables. Additionally, states with that type of legislation usually restrict armored car drivers as those with security guard licenses. As you are contractually bounded to a company, they will most likely restrict your ability to drive their armored cars wherever you like.
