Can the trial period be longer than 3 months?

I don't know if I misunderstood it but they told me that they have a bad experience with employees and that when I start there will be a probationary period of 4 months. Possible? Or did I misunderstand it?

Answer :

It is not possible - it contradicts the Labor Code. ;-) A trial period can be agreed for a maximum of three months. And if a shorter one is agreed upon starting work, it may not be extended (even for the duration of those three months). Respectively - the probationary period can be up to 6 months - but only for managers, not for "ordinary". ;-)
