Ingredients
Sela Rice 500 grams
Beef (with bone ) 500 grams
Onion 1
Raisins ½ cup
Whole Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Grated Carrot 1
Crushed Black Pepper 1 tsp
Chopped Garlic 2-3 cloves
Yogurt 1 cup
Crushed Cardamom ½ tsp
Cinnamon 2 sticks
Cloves 3-4
Sugar 1 tbsp
Oil 2-3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method
Take 500 grams of basmati rice, clean the rice and soak the rice for 3 hours. Take a cooking pan add 2-3 tbsp of oil add 2 stick of cinnamon , 3-4 cloves when its popping add 1 chopped onion ,2-3 cloves of garlic fry and add 500 grams of beef mix it well now add 1 cup of yogurt 1 tsp of crushed black pepper , 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and a pinch of salt mix it well.
When the mixture is dry and oil comes up add 1- ½ jug of water and cook until the beef is tender. When the beef is tender and stock is ready add soaked basmati rice. Steam the rice. Now take a fry pan add 1 cup of grated carrots and ½ cup of raisins , 1 tbsp of sugar and add a little water cook 3-5 minutes now add the mixture in the rice. Remove from the heat and take it out in a serving platter. Afghani rice is ready to serve.
