Quick Blackberry Cobbler recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of flour.
1 cup of sugar.
1 teaspoon of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of salt.
4 ½ cups of blackberries.
1 stick of butter.
¾ cup of milk.
½ cup of sugar, for top of cobbler.
Cinnamon (optional).
Nutmeg (optional).
Directions:
Sift together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder and salt.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Melt the butter in your oven in a 9-inch by 13-inch pan.
Pour in the dry ingredients and milk to make batter.
Distribute the berries evenly on top. Do not stir.
Distribute ½ cup of sugar on top.
If desired, sprinkle cinnamon and/or nutmeg on top.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until done.
