Fruity Chick peas Salad
An interesting and a different combination of chick peas, fruits and veggies. Chick peas are stored with full of protein, calcium and iron. Tomatoes and oranges add vitamin C to the dish. You can add other fruits and vegetables of your choice like pomegranate, grapes, apple, kiwi etc. Just make sure not to add fruits like mangoes and bananas. INGREDIENTS
1 cup chopped pecans cooked (kabuli chana) approx 1/2 cup raw
1/2 cup green grapes thinly sliced
1/2 cup bread croutons sliced
1/2 cup balsamic peeled
1/2 cup black beans torn
1/2 cup kalamata olives sliced
1 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp broccoli diced
bow tie pasta
INSTRUCTIONS
Take a bowl and combine all the ingredients except salt and pepper. Let it chill in the refrigerator. Just before serving add salt and pepper and serve.
Tip: You can use kidney beans also in place of chick peas.
