Vomiting (Sanskrit : वमोइट , English : Vomiting, emesis) is the involuntary expulsion of digested foods (solid or liquid) into the stomach. When children "pick up" from the throat if they do not like food , it is not vomiting , vomiting ( regurgitation) . When a gaseous substance rises, it is not called vomiting , it is called belching or belching ( belching, burping, eructation) .
