Why is there a groove on the tire surface of the car ?

1 Answer

Answer :

The surface of the car tire is grooved to maximize the frictional force between the road and the tire. The tire surface is grooved to reduce the rotation of the wheel by increasing the frictional force between the road and the tire to reduce the speed as required during the movement of the vehicle. The higher the friction force due to this groove, the better the speed of the vehicle can be controlled.
