DTS dovetail press lock grates allow the use of stainless steel as a grating material, without the need to physically weld the pieces together.  Both the cross bars and bearing bars have pre-cut notches which fit together to create a seamless mesh.  They are then permanently connected by hydraulic pressure.The result is an aesthetically pleasing grating which is commonly used in home architecture, as well as customer-facing situations.  These grates are available in ADA-compliant close-mesh spacings.  A 7-DTS-4 type DTS grate has only 1/4" openings between the 3/16" bearing bars.  These press lock grates still allow for effective drainage, while keeping the bars spaced close enough together to be safe for people wearing high heels.Interstate Gratings carries a wide range of grating product
