Bugs do not like 2 tablespoons dawn in 1 qt water and spray the whole tree...........if it rains spray it again,,,,,,,,,,,,in the fall when the leaves drop..............spray with dormant oil...........spray again in the spring up to bud stage and then just spray the trunk be careful with the thorns that you don't get scratched.
