answer:If she really is your friend, I would believe her until you have firm reason not to. It’s very hurtful to not be believed by people who you think care about you. That said, I knew a girl who did this, and she really was lying. I don’t know what drives it. Some people just lie compulsively. I don’t know what they’re getting out of it.
