State the Principle of energy conservation.
Principle of energy conservation: The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system remains constant—it is said to be conserved over time. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it transforms from one form to another. The transformation of energy is from forms provided by nature to any other forms that can be used by humans. As the total amount of energy in nature is limited, it is essential to conserve it, so that its use can be prolonged. The energy saved leads to saving in cost, avoid pollution due to burning of fuels, greenhouse gases and avoid harmful effects on all livings on earth.
