this is not an answer it is an update to the question.  i try'd playing sleep when i went to bed, but stayed awake to see what was going on.   she actually came in my room and crawled under the blanket and put her head down by my p.....  i pretended to wake up, not notice her, and go to the bathroom.  when i returned, she was gone.  so now i know what was happening.  i will deal with it.  intelligent suggestions welcome.
