E.g. I've seen posts from people saying they hid X purchase, or the snacks etc. from their partner. Why not just openly communicate it and set boundaries that both of you respect? Why not just say "Hey, these are the nice chocs in the cupboard. Feel free to have one or two, but please leave me some." and vice versa? This has always been the case in my relationships, and I'm puzzled to learn people hide things instead.
