No. It never even occurred to me, because NO threat was viable when it came to the frenetic, can’t sit still daughter. The remedy was to rush her outdoors at every opportunity to parks, playgrounds, beaches, wherever, and let her run herself to exhaustion. The nap would ensue on the way home.
