How to Do Trampoline Tricks
Jumping on the trampoline is fun not just for kids, but for adults as well. Not only is a fun activity, it’s also a great workout. Here’s a chance to impress the kids and get a nice workout by doing trampoline tricks. Here’s how.
Landing on Your Back
This is one of the basic trampoline tricks that you can learn first. Start by going to the middle of the trampoline, keeping your arms straight at the side. Fall down on your back, letting your neck and head fall into the trampoline. Don’t try to turn or twist it. You will bounce back, and with enough practice, you can bounce right back into your original standing position.
Landing on Your Back, Two
Once you’ve gotten used to landing on your back and going back up again, you can try a variation of this trick. Once again, stand straight and let yourself fall on your back. Instead of bouncing back to your feet, try bouncing back on your knees. Practice this until you get it right.
Tuck Jump
The tuck jump is one of the basic trampoline tricks. Jump straight up and lift your knees to your chest as you go into the air. Touch your knees with your hands in the air, and straighten your knees as you begin to land.
Pike Jump
Jump straight up and kick your legs in front of you so that they are horizontal to the ground and to the trampoline. Bend over so that your chest touches your legs, bending in midair. Straighten to a vertical position before you land again.
Straddle Jump
A straddle jump is similar to what cheerleaders do. Jump on the trampoline while bringing your legs out to the sides as far as you can. To make this move more challenging, try to touch your toes with your fingers while still in the air.

Seat Drop
Jump high in the air and arrange your body so that your bottom lands on the trampoline when you go down, with your legs going in front of you. As your bottom hits the trampoline, go back to a standing position.
Knee Drop
Jump as high as you can and bounce on your knees, keeping your legs together with your shoulders and knees aligned. Keep your back straight while doing this jump, and use the momentum of the bounce to get back on your feet.
