The Hadith, عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب, عن مرثد اليزني, عن مالك بن هبيرة, قال قال رسول اللهصلى الله عليه وسلم "ما من مسلم يموت فيصلي عليه ثلاثة صفوف من المسلمين إلا أوجب". قال فكان Malik Ibn Hurairah ( may Allaah be pleased with him) said: Narrated from . He said : The Messenger of Allah , may Allah bless him and grant him peace , said: If any living Muslim prays in three rows (of his janaza) , Allah will make Paradise obligatory for him. (Sunan Abu Dawood , Hadith 3156) When people saw less at a person's janaza , he would divide them into three rows. In the light of this hadith, the jurists have said that although the number of worshipers in the janaza prayer is less, it is mustahab to divide them into three rows as much as possible. However, if the number of worshipers is more, more than three queues can be made. And that virtue will also be found in it. (Sharhul Muslim Nawabi 7/18 ;
