Description : Friends (also cats) claim that it is a remnant of a milk step when they massage their mother's chest to make milk flow. I don't think so, because they have their claws pulled out. I read somewhere that they chase snakes, also a genetic predisposition. So how is it really? Thanks
Last Answer : It's definitely an atavism. For example, a dog turns around several times before going to bed. This is said to be because they once "trampled" the grass to lie down. Before going to bed, a dog tends ... crib. Opinions on this behavior vary, as it is "really" best known to the cats themselves. : D
