If your employer is a few days late with your pay, that is surely an annoyance but it is not against the law, per se. Call the local office of the Labor Board to discuss it. For the most part, however, your employer is merely sending a message that she does not value her employees enough to pay them as promised. As such, her employees might consider looking elsewhere for work where they are appreciated.
