TV channel broadcast centers send broadcasts of their programs on satellite and then we watch programs on that channel on TV from our homes through the signal from that satellite. There are separate frequency bands for each broadcast center and they transmit their broadcasts accordingly. The fact that these frequency bands are different does not mean that one channel merges with another.
