My father made a mistake with my aunt. As a result of that mistake, my aunt has a daughter. He got married in May and had a daughter. I proposed marriage to this girl. Will this girl be permissible for me according to Sharia ?
It is haraam for an adulterer and his children to marry a girl born as a result of adultery. Similar provisions apply to the daughter of an adulterous daughter. That girl is also not valid for adultery or her sons. This girl is your adulterous niece. So he is not valid for you. Ibn Qudaamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It is haraam for a man to marry a girl born as a result of his adultery . There are differences of opinion among the scholars on this issue. But this is the opinion of Jamhur Alem and it is safe. However, this does not mean that you will become the mahram of this girl: it will be lawful for you to see her and be alone with her. For it is haraam to get married, it is not necessary to be mahram all the time ; In which case solitude and some other things are valid. Ibn Kudama (R) said: "Absolutely forbidden: and that is adultery. By this it is forbidden , but mahram is not established and meeting is not valid." [Completed] Allah is All-Knowing.
