" It is advisable for a woman to adorn herself for her husband within the limits of Shariah. As much as the wife adorns herself, it is a call for love and harmony between husband and wife. This is the purpose of Shariah. There is no harm and no sin. But I have heard that makeup damages the skin of the face, causing the appearance to change abnormally , before it is time to change in old age. I hope women will ask the doctors about this . It would be haraam to do it , at least it would be makrooh , because anything that distorts or disfigures (people) is haraam or makrooh. It is not permissible to use it for a woman who is pregnant, since it hinders the flow of water during the period of purification. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Wash your faces and your feet.” [Surat al-Ma'ida , 6: 6 ] It would not be correct to say that he has washed his hands in case of obstruction of access to water . Thus he omitted an obligation of ablution or bath. And for a woman who does not pray, there is nothing wrong with using it. However , it would not be permissible to use it even if it is characteristic of infidel women ; Since it is not permissible to accept similarities with them.
