Are you doing a knee pain exercise to try to help your knee heal so that the pain will go away? This is a good idea. You do need to work hard to get better. Rehabilitation is never easy, but it is something that you will have to go through and you need to push yourself as hard as you can. That being said, there are some warnings that you should know about while you are doing this. It is good to heed these if you want to stay strong and healthy through the process. To begin with, your knee will give you some warnings on its own. If you feel too much pain, you need to stop. if things seem to be getting worse, consult your doctor. There are cases where people have caused a lot of damage because they just thought that the pain was something that they had to endure. You should watch out for the signals that your body will send to you. Some pain is to be expected. Too much is a warning that something has gone wrong. Do not ignore this. You also need to follow your doctor's orders about how often to do the knee pain exercise in the first place. If he told you to do it three times a week and no more, there was probably a good reason for it. Do not start doing it every day because you think that this will accelerate the process. Your doctor told you to do it less frequently for a reason. As you get better, he will adjust his orders. Do not assume that you can push yourself harder than he wants you to or you may injure yourself permanently. On the other side of things, though, you should not skip out on your exercises just because you do not feel like doing them. Do not put them off because they are painful or difficult. You should expect things to be less than easy. This is part of the process. The doctor cannot be with you all of the time. You have to take some of the responsibility on yourself.
