Ingredients
Pita bread 2 slices
Chicken 250 gm
Ginger 1 piece
Garlic 2 – 3 cloves
Capsicum half
Carrot half
Cabbage as required
Coriander leaves as required
Spring onion 2
Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Dry mango powder ½ tsp
Chili powder ½ tsp
Black pepper as required
Oil for fry
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method
• Heat oil in a wok, add in 1 piece of chopped ginger, 2 – 3 cloves of chopped garlic, 250 gm chicken pieces cut into juliennes, half carrot, half capsicum, a little chopped cabbage, coriander leaves, salt to taste, ½ tsp crushed red pepper, black pepper powder to taste, ½ tsp dry mango powder and ½ tsp chili powder.
• Grease a frying pan with a little oil, toast 2 slices of pita bread.
• Now put chicken filling in centre of each pita bread, fold into roll form.
• Then fry in hot oil till golden brown. Lastly remove from oil and serve with ketchup or chili garlic sauce.
