Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
2 tablespoons of vinegar.
2 tablespoons of water.
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
½ teaspoon of caraway seed.
¼ teaspoon of salt.
Dash of freshly-ground black pepper.
2 cups of red cabbage, shredded.
¾ cup of apple, coarsely chopped.
Directions:
In a large skillet, combine the sugar, vinegar, water, vegetable oil, caraway seed, salt and black pepper.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until hot, stirring occasionally.
Add the shredded cabbage and chopped apple, stirring in.
Cook, covered, over medium-low heat about 5 minutes or until the cabbage is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
