There are basically three methods: one. Permanent method - by which female or male loses fertility. This method is completely invalid. Allama Badruddin Aini Rah. Bukhari mentions in Sharif's explanation that و هو محرم بالاتفاق ie adopting permanent birth control method is unanimously forbidden. (Umdatul Qari 14/14) Two. Temporary method - so that neither husband nor wife becomes infertile. For example , ejaculation (ejaculation outside the vagina of the wife during the climax of sexual intercourse) , using condom jelly, cream , foam, douche , etc. , taking pills , closing the cervix temporarily , taking injections, etc. This method will be valid only in the following cases. দেওয়াTo give some time break between the birth of two children so that the upbringing and care of the first child is done properly. - If for any reason a woman cannot afford to raise a child. হলেIf pregnancy is dangerous because the woman is sick and weak. On the authority of Jabir he said, Narrated from , he said that in the time of Rasulullah আমরা we used to do Azal (which is an old and temporary method of birth control). (Bukhari 2/64) Three. Abortion - This is a very old method of birth control. Despite many improvements in contraceptives , this method is still used in many parts of the world. This method is also not permissible. However, if the woman is very weak , due to which the pregnancy is dangerous for her and the gestation period is less than four months. Then abortion will be legal. If the term is more than four months, it will not be valid in any way. Allama Ibn Taymiyyah said : All the fuqaha of the Muslim Ummah agree that abortion is completely unlawful and haram. Because it is included in Al-Wad (subtle burial) ; Regarding which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning) : وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ - بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ (Takbeer 8-9) (Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah 4/216 Fatawa Darul Ifta in Fiqh Masael Sutra ; Egypt. Tang-11 February 1989) I hope from that discussion it is clear that Islam is not all methods of birth control ; Rather in a particular manner and not in a general condition ; Rather it allows in special cases. Otherwise, in general, Islam encourages people to have more children and directs women who are expecting more children to marry. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said : Marry such girls who give birth to more children and love their husbands more , because on the Day of Resurrection I will be proud in the court of Allaah because I have more ummah. (Abu Dawood , Nasai. Hayatul Muslimin , p. 179) Therefore , in order to make the family prosperous due to lack of food , medical care , accommodation, etc. , for the purpose of maintaining physical beauty or figure , for fear of giving birth to a daughter ) , No family planning method can be used considering it a shame to have more children. Especially if you control the birth with the intention of making the world prosperous due to lack of faith and trust in Allah will be lost. Because Allah is the owner of sustenance. Allaah says ( interpretation of the meaning) : وَلَا تَقلتُلُوا أُولَادَكُم خ خَشةيإ إَملاقلَقَ ، نَحننُ نَرقزَقهممَ وَإَيّاَكَمإ إَنّ قَتَلَهُم ك كَانأ خُطأا كَبِيرا “ Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. I feed them and you. Surely killing them is a great sin. ”(Surah Isra , verse 31) Elsewhere he said , “ Satan promises you poverty. ”Satan promises you poverty. (Surat al-Baqarah) But sad but true is the fact that nowadays , instead of killing children, they are being stopped in various ways after birth , but the misconception of financial risk due to childbirth is one of the reasons for birth control. Therefore, every Muslim should think about this and take careful steps. We must keep in mind that we should not waste our greatest wealth of faith and the Hereafter for fear of worldly pleasures , hardships or shame. May Allah give you the correct understanding. Amen.
