Many diabetics eat saccharin in tea or coffee. But not many of us know how reasonable or healthy it is to eat. As the number of diabetics increases , so does the use of saccharin. But studies have shown that while saccharin does not increase blood sugar levels , long-term consumption of saccharin can increase diabetes. So even if artificially made saccharin brings a sweet taste to the mouth, it can be risky for your health. If the amount of sugar in the blood of diabetic patients is just right , then there is no need to eliminate sugar completely. In this case, they can eat 50 grams or three teaspoons of sugar a day. However, it is best if the patient does not eat sugar directly and mix it with different foods i.e. fibrous food. Many diabetics cannot eat without sugar at all. They are sure to eat sweets with saccharin. People think these foods are sugar substitutes because these foods are made with saccharin. So there is no possibility of increasing diabetes. But this idea is not correct. Of course, organic saccharin is better than artificially made saccharin. Many diabetics drink tea , coffee , sugar or saccharin to increase the amount of sugar in their body when they suddenly lose sugar. Many times they even eat sugar directly. This can lead to a rapid rise in blood sugar levels , but the consequences can be devastating. So diabetics should not do this at all. In Germany, since the end of 2012, special or special diets for diabetics have been banned. Because most of the sugar in these foods was fructose. Some diabetics eat honey , sweet fruits , syrups or anything else instead of sugar. However, the amount of sugar in the blood increases. So the amount of carbohydrates should also be taken into consideration.
