: Hilsa fish head and tail 1 tbsp , Karla 500 gm , Potato medium 2 tbsp , Onion half a cup , Ginger paste half a teaspoon , Turmeric powder 1 tsp , Chili powder 1 tsp , Oil quarter cup , Green chillies red and green 7-8 , salt to taste , water as needed. Preparation: Wash the hilsa fish and rub it with turmeric powder , chilli powder and salt. Karala and potatoes should be cut long. Heat oil in a pan and lightly brown the onion and fry it with turmeric powder , chilli powder , ginger paste , salt and water. The fish should be cooked with seasoned spices and the fish should be removed from the spices. Now you have to cover it with potatoes and karla to be cooked. When the potatoes and lentils are cooked , cover with fish and green chillies. When cooked, lower and serve.
