Ingredients: 500 gms of finely chopped lentils, 1 cup of lentils , half a teaspoon of turmeric , chilli and coriander powder. One small tomato paste, half a cup of onion paste, 1 teaspoon of garlic paste, 3 tablespoons of oil , salt and water accordingly , 3-4 green chillies , 1 dried chilli , half a teaspoon of cumin. Method: Pulses should be half boiled with a little water and salt. Now cover with powdered spices and crushed vegetables and cook for 5-6 minutes. Once cooked, heat oil in another pot, fry garlic , onion, cumin seeds and dried chillies well and simmer for 2-3 minutes with green chillies on top.
